Description

The 1203C GNSS/SBAS Receiver delivers certified, high-integrity position and timing data for operators managing complex airspace. TSO-C145c certification, multiple STCs and approval as an ADS-B position and timing source simplify regulatory compliance while reducing installation complexity.

Built for complex airspace and harsh environments
From RF-dense terminal areas to remote and underserved regions, the 1203C maintains navigation integrity when conditions are less than ideal. Multi-constellation GNSS and SBAS support, including KASS and SouthPAN, delivers consistent accuracy with RAIM monitoring and recovery from minor active spoofing events.

Building a compliant ADS-B Out system
Approved under AC 20-165B as a certified ADS-B Out position and timing source. Paired with a compatible, certified Mode S Extended Squitter transponder it forms a fully compliant ADS-B Out system. STC coverage spans Part 23 and Part 25 aircraft across transponders from Becker Avionics, Rockwell Collins, Honeywell, ACSS and BAE. The receiver also supports TAWS, FMS, RNP operations and CPDLC timestamping when integrated with compatible avionics.

Designed for retrofit efficiency
A compact, low-SWaP LRU with straightforward integration into existing avionics, extensive STC coverage, and support from the FreeFlight Systems global dealer network. Installers benefit from lower integration risk, operators from faster return to service.

Designed for long-term value
Field experience exceeding 100,000 hours MTBF means fewer removals, reduced maintenance exposure and consistent fleet availability over the life of the aircraft.

Specifications
15-channel GPS engine, five position updates per second. Velocity to 1,000 knots steady state. Receiver 4.7 x 8.7 x 1.6 in, 1.9 lb. Antenna 3.0 x 3.7 x 0.8 in, 0.5 lb. Operating temperature -40°C to +70°C receiver, -55°C to +85°C antenna. Input 10 to 32 VDC.

Certification
TSO-C145c Class Beta 1. DO-160F environmental, DO-178 Level C software, compliance with DO-229D. Approved AC 20-165B position source. Installation approvals are published in the FreeFlight Systems STC library.
