WHO WE ARE

FreeFlight Systems builds the position, altitude and traffic awareness systems that flight crews depend on to make decisions. Founded in 2001 and based in Texas, we design and manufacture certified avionics for operators who need equipment that installs cleanly, certifies predictably and stays supported for the life of the aircraft.

Our work spans SBAS/GNSS receivers, radar altimeters and ADS-B systems, from light general aviation through business jets, rotorcraft, special mission platforms and the emerging generation of advanced air mobility aircraft. Modular by design, our products work as standalone units or as part of a fully integrated suite, so operators can equip to the requirement in front of them without rebuilding the panel.

We have also spent two decades in the rooms where the requirements get written, from the original WAAS and ADS-B rulemakings through the current work on radio altimeter spectrum interference. That involvement is why our equipment tends to be ready when the rule arrives.

WHO WE SERVE

Markets. General aviation, business aviation, commercial and regional airlines, special mission, government and military, and advanced air mobility.

Platforms. Fixed-wing, rotorcraft, unmanned aircraft, and airport ground vehicles and infrastructure.

Channels. Direct to operators, through a global dealer and installer network, and as an OEM supplier to airframe and flight deck manufacturers.

Three clean axes instead of one mixed list. It also lets a reader find themselves in one line rather than scanning a run-on.

Built to install, not to improvise. Multi-interface architecture, flexible antenna options and a published STC library with certificate numbers and installation contacts, so your shop knows what it is walking into before the aircraft comes in.

Open by design. We build to open technology standards so our equipment works with the systems already in your aircraft, including flight decks and displays we did not build. That keeps upgrade paths affordable and keeps you from being locked into one supplier's roadmap.

Supported for the long haul. We still support product lines that have been in continuous service for decades, some of them predating the company itself. When you buy from us, the support horizon is measured in aircraft lifetimes.

Made and answered for in the United States. Designed and manufactured in Texas to rigorous quality standards, backed by a two-year warranty, a global service network and engineers who will take the call.
