Axial Deep Groove Ball Bearings
GRW: Bearings for customized applications.
These bearings are not all-rounders. However, axial deep groove ball bearings are ideally suited for special applications.
Axial deep groove ball bearings are used where purely axial loads act. They are neither suitable for radial loads nor in cases of misalignment. These specialists among the deep groove ball bearings depend on having flush and rectangular seats.
The single-sided acting GRW axial deep groove ball bearings consist of
· a plane shaft washer with a race
· a flat housing washer with a race and
· the set of balls itself together with a sheet steel cage.
Due to their design, axial deep groove ball bearings are not self-locking. This is no disadvantage because this way, the shaft and housing washers can be installed and removed separately.
GRW can offer axial deep groove ball bearings in chromium steel or in stainless martensitic roller bearing steel. The inner diameters of two disks differ slightly (d + d1).
