The challenge
Ensuring pilot candidates possess the required skills, decision-making ability and resilience under high workload is critical for flight safety. Designing aptitude tests with graded complexity and automating mission sequences for objective assessment are common challenges in pilot recruitment and training.

Our solution
The Pilot Selection System (PSS) provides a data-driven workstation to objectively evaluate pilot aptitude before training. The pilot workstation is configurable as a single- or two-seater cockpit and can emulate aircraft or helicopter environments. Dynamic flight behaviour, instrument panel layouts and control sensitivity are adjustable to create multiple complexity levels. A GUI enables the definition and automation of event/consequence chains for mission sequencing.
