DA 70 EFI MIL SPEC UAV Engine by HFE International features state of the art electronic fuel injection. This mil spec version provides a fuel injection system which is currently in service on over 700 aircraft and more than 67,000 flight hours in various environments around the world. The system is tested to 20,000 ft altitude and temperatures ranging from -10°F to 120°F. It follows the test methods under MIL-STD-810, testing out the majority of the laboratory methods available. This 3 phase brushless alternator direct drives on the engine crankshaft. The stator mounts to the crankshaft casing. The rotor spins on the crankshaft. The system includes a 200 W Power Management Unit. The PMU provides three lines with a chosen voltage in the range: 12 – 15 VDC at 15A or 200W max and 4.8 – 7 VDC at 7A or 42W max.
