Overview
The KenTIP™ FS modular drill system combines broad application coverage with protected carbide front coverage and a coupling protected from chip flow and workpiece contact. It simplifies tool management and reduces shop-floor costs by enabling fast insert changes and targeted coolant delivery.

KenTIP FS Modular Drill Inserts

• HP Inserts — HP geometry for high productivity in steel and cast iron; KCPK15A multilayer AlTiN/AlTiSiN coating; 2-margin lands for stability and hole straightness; through-coolant.
• GTP Inserts — GOdrill™ point design with 140° angle; universal use for steel, stainless and cast iron; excellent centering and low axial forces; through-coolant.
• DAV Insert — Vibration-assisted drilling of CFRP stacks with metal exit, non-ferrous and high-temp alloys; double-angle 128°/155° to reduce exit burrs; through-coolant; uncoated standard, diamond coating optional.
• FEG Insert — 180° point for flat-bottom holes (two operations in one); corner chamfer to reduce burrs; four-margin lands for straightness and stability; usable as pilot for deep-hole applications.
• HPG, HPC, HPL, SPF — Additional geometries: HPG for steels (KCP15A™), HPC for cast irons (KC7410™), HPL for stainless (KCMS15™), SPF for CFRP (diamond option); each optimized for specific materials and objectives.
