Overview
The KSEM™ modular drill system covers intermediate-diameter drilling from 12.5 to 40 mm (0.492–1.575") with configurations up to 10×D. The modular design (body + carbide insert) delivers high feed capability and process stability across a wide range of materials. Four large contact surfaces in the insert pocket and a central locking screw ensure secure insert clamping and long tool life. Internal coolant is supplied directly to the cutting zone for improved tool life and chip evacuation. Reconditionable carbide inserts reduce inventory and tool cost.

NEW! KSEM HPR Inserts
KSEM HPR inserts extend the portfolio with the proven HPR point geometry optimized for cast iron and steels. The point geometry and advanced corner radius enable:

• drilling at highest feed rates
• excellent hole positioning
• superior surface finish

The HPR inserts are available in grade KCPK15A for extended life and improved process reliability in abrasive materials.
