OverviewThe round DRE pressure regulators maintain a target pressure in a room or in supply/exhaust air ducts and can be used to shut off air ducts. They are suitable for polluted or chemically contaminated air. The static pressure in the duct or room is measured; the specified setpoint is compared with the measured value and the control damper is modulated until the setpoint is reached. Activation and control require external electrical energy. The housing features push-in ends with lip seals compatible with air ducts to DIN EN 1506 or EN 13180.
Key benefits- Optimises system energy use by reducing required operating pressures
- Reduces control effort
- Can be combined with high-speed actuators
- Optional additional volume flow measurement
- Available with dynamic (DRE) or static measuring principle (DRE-s)
ApplicationsUse for example with induction devices. Suitable for maintaining constant pressure levels in rooms or ducts and for duct shut-off functions.
