Description

Overview
The rectangular DRF pressure regulators maintain a constant static pressure in a room or in supply/exhaust air ducts and can also be used to shut off ducts. They are suitable for polluted or chemically contaminated air. The static pressure in the duct or room is measured; the setpoint is compared with the measured value and the control damper is actuated until the desired setpoint is reached. Drive and control require external electrical power. The housing features flanges with slotted holes; insulated versions use cage nuts.

Key benefits
  • Reduce required system pressures to improve energy efficiency
  • Lower control effort through direct static-pressure regulation
  • Compatible with high-speed actuators
  • Optional integrated volume-flow measurement
  • Available in dynamic (DRF) or static measurement variant (DRF-s)

Applications
Maintaining constant room or duct static pressure, duct shut-off, operation in polluted or chemically contaminated air, integration with induction devices and air distribution systems.
