Product overviewOur LTG HPH high-pressure humidifier atomizes fresh water at high pressure to generate a fine mist. The fine droplets evaporate rapidly, producing an adiabatic cooling effect. Excess droplets (approximately 25% of the atomized volume) are separated by a dedicated droplet separator.
Operation and controlThe volume of water to be atomized is determined by the required humidity. Water volume is proportional to the speed of the high-pressure plunger pump and is adjusted via a frequency converter. Depending on water volume, the LTG high-pressure impact nozzles build up a counter-pressure that enables efficient atomisation. The impact nozzles operate in the range of 10–120 bar.
Water quality and hygieneAdequate water quality is essential to prevent contamination of the humidifier and air ducts, clogging of high-pressure impact nozzles and salt carry-over into the room. Water quality affects system contamination, hygiene, air purity, humidification efficiency and water consumption. LTG cooperates with water treatment specialists to recommend suitable water treatment solutions.
