Product detailsOur LTG air washers type DK are designed for the humidification and adiabatic cooling of air using water. The high water flow also provides an air-washing effect.
The units are intended for integration in air handling systems and consist of nozzle chambers in a shell design. The tank and the nozzle chamber housings are made of GRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic) or stainless steel. A filter box, mounted either outside or inside the housing depending on available space, cleans the circulating water. Flow rectifiers on the air inlet ensure even airflow through the nozzle chamber. At the air outlet, separators remove excess free water from the airstream; fine mist may evaporate. Rectifier blades prevent splash water at the inlet. Water is finely distributed by spray nozzles mounted on nozzle holders to form a mist. The circulation pump (located outside the nozzle chamber) draws water after the filter. A built-in float valve maintains a constant water level during operation and standstill. Different nozzle types allow adjustment of humidification conditions and water volumes.
