Transfer Vehicles and Transfer Shuttles are the traditional rail mounted prime movers within the floor level ULD storage and transfer systems of large airport cargo terminals. Our Transfer Vehicles are operated by an onboard driver while Transfer Shuttles are driven remotely by an operator or automated control system. McGrath Industries has a extensive range of Transfer Vehicle and Shuttle configurations to meet all terminal applications. Cargo deck height may be fixed at 508mm (20" - dolly height), or 200mm (8" - workstation height) plus functionality may incorporate onboard ULD rotation, weighing and other features. Many of McGrath Industries' scissor lift models close to 508mm (20") and can be configured as Transfer Vehicles to service mutliple land side Truck Dock positions.
