The compact, high-precision touch trigger probe developed by ミツトヨ using proprietary sensing technology delivers high accuracy and durability. With an outer diameter of ø13.5 mm it is designed for easy access to confined or complex geometries on parts.

Main features

• The MTP-002 combines ミツトヨ's sensor structure with advanced signal processing to achieve high precision and long service life. Its compact ø13.5 mm diameter enables approach to confined features.
• Software-selectable sensitivity switching suppresses false triggers caused by long styli or external vibration, enabling a wider range of stylus configurations and more efficient measurement programs.
• Automatic styli exchange via a stylus change system enables fully automatic measurement without interruption. Different-diameter or special-shaped styli can be exchanged and measured continuously without manual intervention, significantly reducing setup time and measurement labor. Integration with probe change systems allows one machine to handle diverse part geometries, improving equipment utilization and enabling unmanned operation.
