Description

Overview
Compact horizontal machining center MS-320H for small and medium-sized parts (up to ø250 mm workpiece handling; max workpiece ø500 × 400 mm). Designed to reduce floor space (56% smaller footprint vs conventional machines) while supporting automated production and flexible cell configurations.

Automation
Base machine prepared for automation with stable long-run operation in minimal space. Eight standard fixture ports (hydraulic and pneumatic) enable compatibility with a wide range of fixtures and automatic attachment/detachment of varied workpieces.

Loader / Stocker
Loader cycle (loading/unloading): 5.3 s. Supported work sizes: ø250 × L80 mm (8 kg × 2 pcs); ø150 × L120 mm (4 kg × 2 pcs). Ceiling shutter open/close: 0.5 s. 10-station stocker with large acrylic windows for visual inspection of workpiece and finished-product quantities.

Mobile collaborative robot
OMR-series mobile collaborative robot automates loading/unloading for high-mix, low-volume production without fixed safety fences. Movable within operator workspace of a single machine; machine switching completed in 4.5 minutes. Basic operation requires no teaching or programming.

Stable operation / Chip management
Machine structure minimizes chip accumulation to maintain stable, long-duration operation. Increased slope angle (up to 81°) of stainless covers around and under the table, Z-axis moving part designed to avoid chip traps, single stainless X-axis cover and flat Y-axis telescopic cover reduce unevenness. Full-center trough collects chips to fall directly onto the in-machine chip conveyor for external discharge.

High productivity / Spindle
Standard No.40 spindle for steel machining. Spindle speed: 15,000 min-1. Max output: 25/11 kW (15%ED/Cont). Max torque: 73.1 N·m (15%ED). ATC electric shutter standard to shorten non-cutting time; ATC shutter operation: 0.4 s. Electric shutter enables synchronous control with tool-change arm to reduce tool-change time and eliminate shocks from air-driven types.

Feed axes and motion
Feed rapid traverse: X/Y 50 m/min (spec table also lists X/Y/Z 60 m/min), Z 60 m/min. Rapid traverse acceleration (max): 1.0 G. A-axis indexing accuracy / repeatability: ±3 sec / 2 sec (0.001° indexing).
