INFOPAX is an efficient Airport Operational Data Base fulfilling all of the operational requirements of airports in matters of flight management. It is composed of 3 functional modules: the reference data (AODB), the seasonal programme and the real-time programme.
Main characteristics and advantages
Management of reference data
Entry of flights in the form of a seasonal programme
Breaking the seasonal programme down into days
Work in real-time on the flights for the day
Open to external systems (accounting and statistical tools, etc.)
Solution that is user-friendly and easy-to-use
The reference data
The Airport Operational DataBase is the strategic core of airport management. It contains all of the information to which the flights make reference, such as the airline codes, aircraft types, registration numbers, etc. It also lists all physical resources allotted to these flights such as check-in desks, boarding gates, baggage sorting chutes, exits, conveyor belts and parking areas.
Seasonal and daily programmes
From information provided, automatically or not, by airlines, the airport establishes a list of flights for a given period known as a "season". This list defines the regularity and the days when these flights take place. Connected to the Airport Operational Database, the seasonal programme lists quite comprehensive information on each flight and considerably reduces input errors.
When the seasonal programme is built, INFOPAX breaks it down into days. Then, for each day, it extracts the list of aircraft movements at the airport. The user can then work on each day: grouping flights by type "arrival" or "departure" or supplementing information about these flights.
