Description

Product overview
AeroShell Ascender is a high-performance turbine oil formulated with a synthetic ester basestock and advanced additives to deliver low coking, improved thermal and oxidative stability, and excellent elastomer compatibility for modern gas turbine engines.

Features and benefits
  • Excellent elastomer seal compatibility — Minimises risk of seal swelling or degradation, reducing oil loss and maintenance associated with seal replacement.
  • Low coking performance — Low tendency to form coke in bearing chambers and service pipes, lowering cleaning and downtime costs.
  • Outstanding TAN stability — Maintains low acid formation in severe operating conditions, preventing sludge and corrosive degradation.
  • Enhanced viscosity stability — Resists viscosity breakdown under high temperature and oxidative stress to maintain lubricating film.
  • High Performance Capability (HPC) grade — Offers improved performance versus standard oils for extended service intervals and engine protection.

Specifications & approvals
SAE — SAE AS5780D Grade HPC
United States — MIL-PRF-23699G Grade HTS
United Kingdom — DEF STAN 91-101 equivalent
France — DCSEA 299/A equivalent
