AeroShell Turbine Oil 390 is a 3 mm²/s synthetic diester turbine oil formulated to improve auxiliary power unit (APU) starting reliability after cold soak, reducing viscous drag at very low temperatures.

Applications
AeroShell Turbine Oil 390 is designed primarily for turbojet and turbine engines and is fully approved for use in a wide range of auxiliary power units (APUs). It mitigates the effects of cold soak that can cause hung starts by maintaining substantially lower viscosity at –40°C (typically ~2,000 mm²/s) versus standard 5 mm²/s oils (which can reach ~10,000 mm²/s).
