Overview
Smiths Detection SDX 10080 SCT is a dual-energy computed tomography (CT) scanner for hold baggage and air cargo screening. Building on the proven HI-SCAN 10080 XCT and CTX 9800 heritage, the system is ECAC EDS 3.1 approved and designed to scale to future standards such as ECAC EDS 3.2 and TSA 7.3. An optional dual-view, dual-energy high-resolution line scanner can be added to supplement 3D CT images with high-resolution 2D colour images for enhanced detection of thin wires and small items.
