Overview
The Trig TT23 and TT23G compact Mode S transponders provide Class 1 transponder functionality in a reduced panel footprint. The TT23 supports ADS‑B Out when connected to a certified external GPS; the TT23G incorporates a certified internal GPS (ETSO‑C199) for an integrated ADS‑B Out solution.

Product design
The system separates a compact control head (TC20) with built‑in altitude encoder from a hardware back box that can be installed elsewhere in the airframe. Control head depth is 54 mm and fits into a 57 mm (2¼") round hole or a compact mount; installation kit is supplied. The display is bright, legible and manually dimmable.

Power output and ADS‑B
Nominal transmitter power is 250 W at the connector (Class 1). The TT23/TT23G complies with 1090ES ADS‑B Out requirements (TSO‑C166b). TT23 requires an external certified GPS for ADS‑B Out; TT23G uses its internal ETSO‑C199 GPS.
