Description

Type 410 is a general hardenable, martensitic stainless steel. It combines the superior wear resistance of high carbon alloys with the excellent corrosion resistance of chromium stainless. Its strength, good ductility and resistance to corrosion in mild atmospheres, steam and mild chemical environments make it well suited for highly stressed parts. 410 stainless steel is magnetic in both the anealed and hardened conditions.
