Flight Data Systems
About Us
Flight Data Systems builds the recorders that capture flight data, the tools that retrieve it, and the reports that prove it. For more than 30 years we have worked at every stage of that chain, which means an operator can source the recorder, the download equipment and the compliance report from one place, and hold one company accountable for all three.
Our SENTRY cockpit voice and flight data recorders are among the smallest and lightest ED-112A certified units available, built around a retrofit-first architecture for aircraft where a conventional recorder will not fit. The HHMPI handheld interface downloads from more than 50 recorder models across the major OEMs, not only our own. Our Readout and Data Link services support more than 100 airframes through over 450 fixed-wing and rotorcraft databases, with reports prepared for direct submission to the authority.
More than 130 fleets and operators rely on us globally, across commercial aviation, rotorcraft, military and advanced air mobility. We are a Flight Data Systems company within the Acron Technologies group, with operations in the United States and the United Kingdom.
WHO WE SERVE
Markets. Commercial and regional airlines, business aviation, rotorcraft and emergency services, government and military, MROs and maintenance organizations, and advanced air mobility.
Platforms. Fixed-wing, rotorcraft, unmanned aircraft, and mixed fleets running both current and legacy recorders.
Channels. Direct to operators and MROs, through a global dealer and installer network, and as an OEM supplier to airframe manufacturers.
Our values
Certified. Our recorders are ED-112A certified and DO-160G qualified, and our readout reports are prepared against FAA, EASA, UK CAA and ICAO guidance. Where a national authority requires its own format, we adapt and certify the report to that requirement rather than handing you rework.
Proven. More than 30 years of recorder and readout experience, and more than 130 fleets and operators depending on it. Our database library covers current and legacy recorders alike, because most fleets are not uniform and pretending otherwise does not help anyone.
Reliable. Standard readout turnaround is three business days or less, with 24/7 support for AOG situations and incident investigations. Every product carries our warranty, global technical support, service bulletin updates and full documentation.
Global. Operations in the United States and the United Kingdom, a worldwide dealer network, and reports accepted by civil aviation authorities across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
