Founded in 1977, Teknik Döküm entered the security technologies sector in 1985 by becoming the Turkish representative of CEIA, one of Italy’s leading companies specializing in electromagnetic technologies. In the 1990s, we expanded our activities in security metal detection systems. In 1997, we strengthened our position in aviation security by becoming the Turkish representative of Smiths Detection (HEIMANN), one of the world’s leading manufacturers of X-ray inspection systems.

Since the early 2000s, we have focused on developing airport equipment designed to reduce congestion at security checkpoints, improve operational efficiency, and optimize passenger flow. We provide integrated solutions for airports and passenger screening areas, including systems for the fast and efficient handling of baggage, trays, and packages.

In 2014, we developed our own Automated Tray Return System. In 2017, we installed an automated system fully integrated with X-ray screening equipment at Santiago International Airport in Chile, delivering one of the first Automated Tray Return System projects in South America. Our solutions were also among the first systems of their kind implemented in South America and Africa. Today, they are in operation at capital city airports across six countries.
