The working area of the platform can be adjusted in 100 mm stages from the original height of 300 mm to 1,900 mm. The steps can be adapted to the individual working height using movable parts. The height is adjusted using a mechanical hoist gear with overload slipping clutch. All surfaces facing the helicopter are fitted with a foam covering to prevent damage to the outer skin of the helicopter. To use the platform in various positions around the helicopter, it is provided with an extra protective bar that can be latched onto the handrail.
