The RBHM / RBHH beacons are designed mainly for night operation as identification and location markers for a heliport at airports, hospitals and military bases. The patented liquid-filled lamp connector eliminates the slip rings and brushes found on conventional beacons (U.S. Patent No. 5339224). There is no maintenance required except for lamp replacement.
