Type I De-icing Fluid is a propylene glycol-based product formulated for ground de-icing of aircraft to remove snow, ice and frost from airframe and wings. It is triazole-free, non-corrosive, contains an enhanced low-foaming surfactant and a dye package for clear spotting; readily biodegradable and intended for ground use only (no in-flight or take-off anti-icing protection).
