The Orca 6 is a versatile paraglider in the EN B class, designed for tandem flights. It offers excellent performance and ease of use, providing enjoyment for both passengers and pilots.
Design and purpose
Orca 6 was designed with professional pilots in mind. The main objective was to make the wing as comfortable and user-friendly as possible, ensuring daily flights are enjoyable experiences.
In low-wind conditions, maintaining altitude can be challenging. To address this, we have expanded the Orca’s speed range. It allows for a low sink rate with fully closed trimmers, without compromising its top speed when the trimmers are opened.
The handling of the Orca 6 is light yet responsive, requiring minimal effort. It reduces pilot fatigue, even after multiple passenger flights in a single day. The Orca 6 responds quickly and dynamically without needing a lot of force during control while still providing the stability that tandem pilots rely on.
Orca 6 compared to previous versions:
a new aerodynamic profile and canopy geometry
new materials optimized for strength and weight. Similar to the previous Orca, we used double-coated Porcher Everlast fabric on the leading edge. Remaining top surface and bottom surface are made of double coated, siliconized fabric – Dominico 32PS
a new color scheme family called Flying Gems
Design
The canopy was designed under our CSG (Canopy Shape Guard) system, consistIng of several subsystems, so that exceptional body coherence and its durability is ensured.
The aerodynamic profile of the wing is based on DOA (Dudek Optimized Airfoil) technology.
