The APA-ECO series by ElectroAir represents the next generation of fully electric Ground Power Units (GPUs), offering mobile, silent, and zero-emission 28.5 VDC power for aircraft and helicopters. Built around high-capacity LiFePO4 battery packs, these units are ideal for operations in eco-sensitive or off-grid environments, delivering clean energy with the performance and reliability ElectroAir is known for.
The series includes two models to meet different power needs:
● APA-ECO 190: 192 kWh battery capacity, up to 10 hours of continuous GPU load.
● APA-ECO 320: 320 kWh capacity, delivering up to 7 hours of uninterrupted operation.
Both models output 28.5 VDC / 600A (with 2000A peak) and include smart features such as a 10.1” touchscreen control panel with optional remote access. With IP55-rated enclosures and rugged construction, these battery GPUs are suited for both civilian and military applications, including remote airfields, indoor hangars, and urban terminals with strict noise and emissions regulations.
The units operate silently and without fuel, reducing operational costs and environmental impact. Designed for fast deployment and low maintenance, APA-ECO GPUs enable energy-efficient support for aircraft systems without requiring fixed infrastructure.
Use scenarios include temporary stands, backup power during grid outages, or any ground operations where conventional GPUs are impractical. Whether indoors or in the field, the APA-ECO series delivers flexible, sustainable power - exactly where and when it's needed.
