Description

Concept
Designed for pilots who seek genuine cross-country adventures and the freedom of flying from mountain to mountain with only their paraglider and bivouac gear. The Bandit 2 combines an ultra-lightweight concept with performance cues of a higher-aspect wing. Whether stepping into long-distance flying, chasing hike-and-fly adventures, or mountain-to-mountain trips, the Bandit 2 is presented as a suitable partner.

Key highlights
  • Adventure wing designed for hike & fly and cross-country exploration
  • Flat aspect ratio: 5.5 — balanced for stability and performance
  • Very light construction: example weight 3.24 kg (S size)
  • Certification: EN B across sizes
  • Ultralight structural choices (Nitinol rods in the leading edge, optimized internal architecture and line geometry)

Handling & Take-off
  • Take-off behaviour comparable to a dedicated mountain wing: canopy rises smoothly and progressively even in little or no wind
  • Pitch-stable character and good thermal sensitivity for early lift and compact inflation
  • Refined feedback and damping for coherent and intuitive handling

Construction & Materials
  • Leading edge: Dokdo DC30DMF & 10DFS and Myungjin MJ40 MF (clean upper surface and compact packing)
  • Upper surface: Dokdo 10DSF
  • Lower surface: Dokdo 10DSF
  • Blades: Myungjin MJ29 MF
  • Top, middle and main lines: Edelrid 8001 series (top/middle/main lines specified)
  • Nitinol rods in the leading edge for compact packing and consistent upper surface

Risers & Line Systems
  • Simplified, lightweight riser design focused on essentials: user-friendly both on the ground and in the air
  • Two riser options presented on the page: standard riser (standard) and 4 mm Dyneema riser (lightweight)
  • Standard riser features: Easy Big Ears system, Magnetic fastener, Low friction ring, C-Riser steering, Coded colour riser for quick identification
  • Dyneema riser option reduces overall system weight (Dyneema risers noted as weight-optimising)

Other design details & systems
  • 3-riser / 3-line spanwise layout
  • Trailing edge mini ribs for clean profile
  • Unsheathed lines where specified to reduce weight
  • Gathering system and dirt cleaner system incorporated

Serial colours / Visual options
  • Available serial colours: Blue, Lime, Red (thumbnails for each color variant)

Included with the glider
  • Inner compress bag
  • Compression strap
  • Repair kit (self-adhesive ripstop patches matching colours)
  • Gin stickers
  • Optional accessories shown: Concertina compress bag, Dyneema riser, Fast packing bag light
