ConceptThe Bolero 8 is a next-generation school wing redesigned from profile to internal architecture to make every step of learning comfortable and intuitive. It delivers homogeneity and pitch stability across the span, improved pitch and roll damping, higher resistance to collapses and predictable behaviour in turbulence — providing students with a calm, confidence-building platform.
Performance & HandlingThe wing offers aerodynamic efficiency suited to learning and progression: a long brake range with a clear warning near the stall point, good climb and glide characteristics for extended flights, playful yet forgiving handling, and optimised brake pressure and travel to help students detect stall points safely and find thermals.
Launch & EPT (Leading Edge Technology)Fourth-generation EPT system and updated plastic rod configuration keep the leading edge and nose shape consistent at any angle of attack. This ensures clean, predictable inflations and a canopy that remains comfortably overhead during ground handling. Launches are reliable and repeatable.
Stability & SafetyRevised canopy arc and internal architecture improve pitch and roll damping and increase collapse resistance. The Bolero 8 is designed to be forgiving and predictable, accelerating student confidence while remaining suitable as pilots progress.
Design highlights / structural & handling features- EPT system (4th generation) with updated plastic rods to maintain leading edge shape
- 3 risers / 3 lines spanwise (labelled B riser for B-stall)
- Coded colour lines and riser arrangement for quick identification
- Trailing edge mini ribs for improved profile fidelity
- Easy ears system for simple aspect-reduction manoeuvres
- Magnetic fastener and low-friction rings on risers
- Plastic rods and reinforced nose architecture for consistent inflations
Materials & LinesLeading edge: Dokdo DC30DMF / Myungjin MJ40 MF. Upper/lower surfaces: Myungjin MJ29 MF. Lines: top lines GIN TGL 80 (Aramid); middle lines GIN TGL 125 (Aramid), Liros DSL 70, Liros PPSL 120; main lines LIROS PPSL 120 / 160 / 200.
