The Trent 700 marked the beginning of Rolls-Royce’s Trent programmes. This engine has accumulated more than 40 million hours in service. The engine powers the Airbus A330 aircraft and is the most popular engine option selected by airlines, with a 60% market share.
In the Trent 700, ITP Aero is responsible for producing the intermediate pressure compressor cases, assembling the intermediate and low-pressure turbines and designing and manufacturing all complex aerostructures of the engine.
