The F-16 Block 70/72 Fighting Falcon is a modernized 4th-generation multirole fighter configured to support international air operations into the mid-21st century. Airframe, Sustainment & Service Life
New-production Block 70/72 aircraft incorporate structural upgrades extending structural life to approximately 12,000 flight hours, supporting an operational service life on the order of four decades for many operators and reducing the need for extensive structural repairs.
