Description

MLAT MultiLATeration is a navigation technique commonly used in civil and military surveillance applications to accurately locate an aircraft, a vehicle or a stationary emitter through the measurement of the “Time Difference of Arrival” (TDOA) of a radio signal transmitted by the emitter and received by three or more receiver sites. NEXT has been involved in the software design and development of a multilateration simulator for the Malpensa Airport in Milan.
