Description

Product Description
The Rotor-Check 400 magnetic field testing device is a practical testing apparatus for measuring the magnetic field strength profile of rotors. The device and the measuring probe are directly connected via USB to a Windows PC. It is ideal for precise magnetic field measurements and analyses.
  • Testing the magnetic field strength profile of a rotor
  • Direct connection of device and probe via USB to Windows PC
  • Ideal for precise magnetic field measurement and analysis

Possible Measurement Parameters
  • Magnet or magnetization quality
  • Assembly errors of the lamination stack
  • Influences due to inhomogeneity of the laminated core
  • Position of the lamination stack to the shaft
  • Stray field magnetization
  • Local and global pole tips
  • Flux density in the pole center
  • Pole width
  • Pole offset
  • Pole comparison

Functionality
An exact and high-resolution stepper motor rotates the rotor 360° within seconds. With the free RotorCheck software, you can record and statistically evaluate an accurate curve of the magnetic field strength and angle. The measuring probe is placed at a constant distance from the rotor using a height-adjustable fixture to ensure comparable magnetic measurements during rotation and precise magnetic field strength across the entire rotor profile.
The rotor's axis can be up to 13 mm thick. The probe's fixture is height-adjustable up to 12 cm, allowing flexible handling for different rotor sizes.
The measurement values can be exported directly as a graphic or CSV (e.g., for Microsoft Excel) using the RotorCheck software.
Scope of Delivery
The Rotor-Check 400 comes with a transverse tongue probe PM4-TR. The delivery includes 3 holders for the measuring probe for axial or radial measurement. Adapter sleeves for specific distances to the magnetic rotor are available upon request.
The Rotor-Check 400 and the measuring probe are connected to a PC or laptop with two USB ports and require no additional external power supply.
Application Example
The device is suitable for measuring and analyzing magnetic rotors in various industrial applications.
