Short description
The fluxgate magnetometer / magnetic field detector LM-MP6000-EMF measures very weak DC and AC magnetic fields in the range 0–400 µT (0–4 G) or 0–300 A/m. The instrument uses a fluxgate measurement probe configured for transverse field measurements. It is suitable for detecting magnetized items in parcels or luggage in accordance with IATA 953 / UN 2807.

Applications and features
The LM-MP6000-EMF is intended for research & development, geophysics, archaeology, aerospace and navigation measurements, building biology and verification of magnetic shielding. It measures the Earth magnetic field and low-frequency interference and provides frequency information including Fourier analysis. The scan function enables area mapping and statistical evaluation of magnetic fields.

Memory and interfaces
The device includes internal data storage, combined digital and analog display, peak-value measurement, wireless data transfer to Windows PC and mobile apps (Android/iOS), USB connector for continuous power and a SCPI interface for remote automation of measurement procedures.
