Product description
The TBM-A330/A350 aircraft tow bar is designed for towing A330 and A350 series aircraft. Based on a proprietary design, it features a mechanically adjustable lifting mechanism for simple operation, rapid connection and convenient disconnection. It is intended as a specialized ground support tool for aircraft maneuvering in apron and ramp areas.

Operating conditions and scope of application

• Operating conditions: Firm, level airport surfaces suitable for towing operations.
• Towing speed: ≤ 20 km/h.
• Temperature range: Operative between -40°C and +50°C.

Main structure

• Main components: front tow hitch, main body, mechanical adjustable lifting mechanism, transport wheels, rear tow ring and associated components.
• Head groove: Groove on the head is shaped to engage the nose-wheel axle of A330 and A350 aircraft.

Usage and operation

• Position the tow bar in front of the aircraft nose wheel and align the front towing groove with the wheel axle. Engage the locking plate to secure the connection.
• Rotate the lifting mechanism handle to adjust the tow bar height so the rear tow ring couples with the tow tractor. Continue rotating to lift the support wheels fully off the ground. Start towing at authorized speed to reposition the aircraft.
• To disconnect, disengage the locking plate, rotate the lifting mechanism to lower the support wheels until they contact the ground, releasing the nose-wheel axle, then withdraw the tow bar clear of the aircraft.
