Description

High intensity, unidirectional elevated Runway Guard Light Input: 6.6A or 230V, 50Hz and 60Hz Easy levelling and adjustment due to the patented ball joint Withstands wind velocities up to 300 mph (483 km/h) TKH Airport Solutions elevated lights are efficient LED lights that meet the highest requirements in design and development. The use of shatter-proof and scratch-resistant glass and the high temperature resistance range guarantee a lifetime of 20 years. The risk of damage is greatly reduced and therefore a significant reduction in maintenance costs and material consumption can be achieved. Shape, size and weight have a positive impact on the wind load and in addition, the lights offer a high resistance to the plane’s jet wash and provide ideal illumination even under difficult conditions. Most of the elevated lights are also available in our CEDD® solution. Contact our team for more information. Description Runway Guard Lights (WIG-WAG) are used where intersections between runway and taxiway must be clearly marked. A system consists of two elevated fittings equipped with a unidirectional yellow light, each controlled by a flash unit. The unit can be supplied with an additional omnidirectional white LED light as position marker. The power consumption at maximum light intensity is less than 10W with the possibility to change the output intensity in three steps: 10, 30 or 100%. The construction is lightweight with no heavy parts above ground level. Each light can be individually adjusted for toe-in and elevation.
