Overview
Angled tool heads and high-speed tools can be stored in the tool magazine and changed automatically. Large and heavy angled tool heads can be clamped in the prismatic tool accommodation to ensure cutting stability and precise machining results.

CNC facing head
Using CNC facing heads (D’Andrea) or special boring bars requires an additional NC-axis. WFL offers a U-axis as an option to provide the necessary kinematic input. Tool admission is carried out via the prismatic tool interface, enabling secure clamping and automatic handling from the pick-up magazine.
