Product Overview The Orion™ 650E Series from Whelen Aerospace Technologies integrates RED or GREEN forward position lights with a white flashing anti-collision function in a single, compact flush‑mount wingtip assembly. The series eliminates the need for external flasher boxes (simplifying installation and improving reliability), installs behind an existing wingtip lens using the same footprint and mounting configuration as legacy Whelen products, and is available in both 14 VDC and 28 VDC configurations. Selected 28 VDC models (650E 31 and 650E 32) include an integrated red ground recognition light for enhanced ground visibility. The Orion™ 650E Series is fully FAA TSO approved and STC certified and is designed for retrofit and replacement applications.
