Overview
The BTI1000I EVO is a multifunction flight-line and bench tester for IFF/SSR systems. It offers advanced simulation and measurement capabilities to verify interrogator and transponder waveforms and modes, including secure modes, and features an enhanced human‑machine interface tailored to field operations and system integration tasks.

The challenge
Unauthorized aircraft or UAV incursions require rapid identification decisions. Operational users need a compact test solution able to validate the entire IFF chain (transponder, interrogator and combined interrogator/transponder—CIT), covering civil and military modes up to NATO Mode 5 to ensure correct identification, bearing and range data under operational constraints.

Our solution
The BTI1000I EVO provides both flight-line and bench testing with test-bench level functionality. It can simulate interrogators (e.g. MSSR 2000 ID, MSR1000I) and transponders (LTR400), verify IFF waveforms and modes including encrypted modes, and speed up field tasks and integration through an intuitive HMI.
