Summary
QRTK77 is a Mode 5 cryptographic computer dedicated to AIMS Option B format transponders, interrogators and CITs. It performs simultaneous cryptographic encryption and decryption for IFF operations and is suitable for IFF sub-systems of all platform types: combat aircraft, vessels, ground radar stations and air defence systems.

Security and usability
Equipped with its own battery, the QRTK77 manages up to 3 months of keys. The battery has no timer and can be replaced without time limitation, avoiding the risk of blocking the system during replacement. The QRTK77 incorporates a removable and external CIK (Crypto Ignition Key), making the system inoperable once removed and reinforcing security and ease of use in operational theatres.
