Description

Product Description
Master Bond EP64 is a two-component epoxy system providing a long working life at room temperature. It uses a forgiving 100:5 mix ratio by weight and, once mixed, forms a moderate-viscosity compound with good flow. A 100 g batch yields approximately 12–24 hours working time at ambient temperature. EP64 is solvent-free and low-shrinkage, bonds metals, plastics, rubbers, ceramics and composites, and exhibits an exceptionally high glass transition temperature (~210–215°C) that delivers excellent thermal and chemical resistance. The cured material resists many aggressive chemicals including acids, bases and various solvents, functions as an electrical insulator and is compatible with vacuum conditions.

Key Features
  • Long open time at room temperature
  • Convenient elevated-temperature cure
  • High glass transition temperature (~210–215°C)
  • Passes NASA low outgassing / ASTM E595
