Product overview AeroShell Oil 100 is designed for use in engines during break-in periods, providing lubrication and protection across a moderate temperature range. ApplicationsAvailable in three viscosity grades: AeroShell Oil 80, AeroShell Oil 100 and AeroShell Oil 120. The suffix indicates viscosity at 210°F (Saybolt Universal Seconds). Approved for four-stroke certified aircraft reciprocating piston engines (except Porsche) and for some radial engines requiring SAE J1966 (MIL-L-6082) where dispersant oils are not specified. Primarily used during break-in of new or recently overhauled engines; recommended break-in duration and lubrication procedures vary.
