OverviewINSTRUMENT FLIGHT PROCEDURE DESIGN is a suite of CGX AERO software modules dedicated to the design, management and verification of instrument flight procedures, aeronautical data management, cartography and airspace design. The suite includes branded modules (GéoTITAN®, Data4Flight®, AIP-GIS Charting® and Airspace4Flight®) addressing specific phases of procedure design and aeronautical data workflows.
Data4Flight®Data4Flight® is an aeronautical data management solution with an intuitive interface to maximize operator efficiency and ensure interoperability for aeronautical data exchange.
- Centralized AIXM 5.1-extended database: standalone or server mode (PostgreSQL or SQLite).
- Import/export of multiple formats and standards: AIXM 4.5/5.1, ARINC 424, ARINC 816.
- Interoperability with GéoTITAN®, AIP-GIS Charting®, AIM4Flight® and Thales TopSky®.
- 2D and 3D environment visualization for spatial verification.
- Integrated business rule engine with predefined rulesets (ADQ, AIXM, ARINC 424) and support for custom rules.
- Automated exports: generation of Flight Procedure Design technical reports in Excel and Word formats.
GéoTITAN®GéoTITAN® is an expert application focused on automated creation and management of conventional and RNAV IFR trajectories and their protection zones.
- Database-driven workflows minimizing manual steps.
- User interface optimized for procedure design and geographic context.
- Data quality and consistency checks integrated in the process.
- Automated geodesic computations using WGS84.
- Automated calculation of protection areas and minimum altitudes from obstacles and digital terrain models (DTM).
- Automated regulatory checks and flexible design through configurable templates.
- Native interoperability with AIXM 4.5/5.1 and Data4Flight® / AIM4Flight®.
AIP-GIS Charting®AIP-GIS Charting® is a cartography application for editing, updating and publishing civil and military aeronautical charts in compliance with ICAO Annex 4.
- Advanced chart production built on ArcGIS (ESRI).
- Direct linkage to the AIXM central database to preserve data integrity.
- Cartographic tools: temporality management, feature creation and data-driven elements (off-view trajectories, profile views, dynamic tables).
- Product management: charts and templates document management, symbol library, advanced labeling and rule-based symbol/text generation.
- Quality control: automatic detection of changed features and impacted charts, report generation and workflow management.
- Templates: pre-configured ICAO Annex 4 templates and customizable templates for specific cartographic requirements.
Airspace4Flight®Airspace4Flight® enables design and editing of airspace structures and route tracks directly within the Data4Flight® database. It validates airspace and en-route attributes against aeronautical data business rules and provides analysis to comply with ICAO design recommendations (Annex 11) and ICAO Doc 8168 Vol.2.
