Dynon is developing an integrated, certified-capable IFR GPS navigation capability for the SkyView HDX avionics system. The solution integrates navigation, flight planning, and approach guidance into SkyView HDX via a remote-mounted IFR module and antenna, eliminating the need for a separate panel-mounted navigator.

Hardware & Data Requirements
The capability is delivered by a remote-mounted IFR module and antenna that integrate into SkyView HDX using the system's modular architecture. A current IFR navigation database subscription is required for IFR operations; approach plates and charts are optionally available. The IFR capability is unlocked with the latest SkyView software update after module installation.

Compatibility
Available for all SkyView HDX displays when equipped with the new module. Legacy SkyView Classic and Touch systems are not compatible; display upgrade programs are available separately.

Capabilities & Integration
Supports RNAV procedures (SIDs, STARs, LPV/WAAS). The internal IFR navigator fully integrates with the Dynon autopilot for hands-off LPV approach flying. No additional ARINC adapter is required for SkyView integration.

Certification, Pricing & Availability
Dynon is actively engaged in FAA certification activities to deliver a fully compliant IFR solution for experimental and type-certificated aircraft. The product is not approved for IFR operations until certification is complete. Final pricing and shipping dates will be announced closer to release.
