Cut with 3-5 times the speed of conventional TiN-coated HSS hobs. Reduce the number of machines, capital equipment and labor required. Increase tool life up to 5 times that of a conventional HSS hob. Reduce cost of resharpening, inventory and tool change. Lower tool cost of HSS with TiNite®, AlNite®, and AlCroNite®Pro Coatings than Carbide. Potential to completely eliminate coolant, including maintenance and disposal costs.
