Description

PBS ignition is designed to generate voltage impulses for two spark plugs, in the spark gap of which the jumping spark ignites the fuel-air mixture in the APU turbine combustion chamber. Service life: 8 years or 3,000 starts with starts lasting 30 seconds Expected technology life cycle: 25 years or 9,000 starts with starts lasting 30 seconds The ignition device has two separate channels. Each channel consists of a free oscillation convertor that charges the capacitor. When the internal spark gap voltage is reached, the energy accumulated in the capacitor is discharged in the spark plug. The frequency of discharges depends on the supply voltage; at 14 V it has a minimum value of 3 Hz, while at 30 V the maximum value is 7 Hz. Rated voltage - 28 V DC Nominal current consumption - 0,6 J Discharge frequency at 14V DC - 3 Hz ÷ 6 Hz Discharge frequency at 30V DC - 4 Hz ÷ 7 Hz Operating temperature - -55 ÷ 100°C Weight - 1,1 kg Type of operation - intermittent (with the option of permanent operation)
