The Cheerong ARL airport lighting system provides a complete range of aeronautical ground lighting (AGL) for runway, taxiway and apron guidance. The family includes elevated vertical lights, inset/flush lights and PAPI/APAPI units designed for night and low-visibility airport operations.

PAPI (Precision Approach Path Indicator)
The PAPI/APAPI units provide visual glide path guidance using red/white indications. Typical installations use four PAPI indicators per approach (two for APAPI). Each indicator unit comprises a light body assembly (cover, front glass, body, lens, color filter, lamp) and a bracket assembly for alignment and elevation adjustment.
