Propeller & Engine ControlsEach B23 leaves the factory with a three-blade MT-Propeller hydraulic constant-speed propeller (model depends on engine). Single Lever Power Control (SLPC) with FADEC is standard on the B23-912iS, combining throttle and propeller control into one lever.
Typical missions- Flight training and ATOs: benign handling, dual sticks, Night VFR certification, efficient operating economics and long TBO on many engines.
- Private flying and touring: comfortable cabin, long-range and turbocharged options for high-altitude performance.
- Special missions: glider towing options (factory tow hook or aircraft-mounted winch on turbocharged variants), certified exhaust silencer and traffic systems as options.
Certifications & approvalsThe B23 family holds multiple authority approvals: EASA CS-23 type certification across the family; B23-912 FAA Part 23 certified. The B23-915 IFR has EASA CS-23 IFR certification and is approved for IFR in IMC (flight into known icing conditions prohibited). Night VFR certification is standard across variants.
