Product OverviewThe ILS-3M Instrument Landing Simulator is a compact, highly integrated portable instrument for in-situ qualitative testing of onboard Instrument Landing Systems (ILS). It provides status confirmation of aircraft-installed ILS receivers while the aircraft is parked on the tarmac. The unit generates RF signals across the full LOC and GS frequency bands with adjustable modulation depth and differential modulation (DDM) to emulate ground-based localizer and glide slope signals. A dedicated antenna transmits marker beacon (MB) signals — far, middle and near — to validate marker beacon reception and overall ILS receiver performance.
