Product overviewThe aircraft DC generator test system is a bench solution for performance and compatibility testing of aviation DC generators and regulators. It integrates a control cabinet, power unit, DC load bank and interconnection cables to test models such as the ZF-1.5 generator and TY-1500 voltage regulator under defined electrical and thermal conditions.
Main features- ZF-1.5 generator support with two cooling ratings: 500 W (natural/spontaneous ventilation) and 1000 W (forced ventilation).
- Ensures regulated output and smooth parallel operation; includes reverse-current protection, overload tolerant characteristics and reduced radio interference design.
- Four-pole shunt-wound construction with reversible rotation direction for functional testing.
- Flexible installation: supports horizontal, inclined and vertical mounting orientations.
Technical specifications- Cooling method: Forced air circulation / Spontaneous ventilation.
- Rated power: 1000 W (forced) / 500 W (spontaneous).
- Rated voltage: 27.5 V.
- Rated current: 40 A (forced) / 20 A (spontaneous).
- Speed range: 3800–5900 RPM.
- Operative condition: Continuous.
- Allowable overload current: 50 A (forced) / 24 A (spontaneous); overload duration: 2 minutes.
- Maximum excitation current at thermal state (at 3800 RPM, 27.5 V, rated current): 2.80 A (forced) / 2.55 A (spontaneous).
- Forced ventilation airflow requirement: ≥ 30 L/s at normal atmospheric pressure.
- Maximum permissible temperature rise (°C): Commutator 75 (forced) / 120 (spontaneous); Excitation winding 55 (forced) / 105 (spontaneous); Armature winding 75 (forced) / 120 (spontaneous).
